Privacy policy

The controller is Animalhealth CZ/SK, an association of legal entities, Kachlíkova 882/4, 635 00 Brno, Czech Republic, Company ID (IČ) 750 43 017. For anything related to personal data, contact us at ahczsk@centrum.cz.

The website has no contact form. When you send us an e-mail, we process your e-mail address, name and the content of your message so that we can reply. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries. We keep the correspondence only for as long as necessary to deal with your enquiry.

The members’ area is available only to representatives of member companies. In it we process:

• login details – work e-mail and password; the password is stored only as a hash, from which it cannot be recovered,
• the directory of representatives – name and title, company, job title, work phone and e-mail, and role in the association,
• technical login records, such as the number of failed attempts, for security purposes.

The data is provided to us by member companies through the secretariat. The directory is visible only to logged-in representatives of members. The legal basis is the association’s legitimate interest in communication between its members and in carrying out its activities. We delete the account and the directory entry as soon as the person stops representing their company in the association.

The website uses two kinds of cookies:

• essential – they remember your cookie choice and your login to the members’ area; the website cannot work without them, so we do not need your consent,
• analytics – Google Analytics, run through Google Tag Manager. They help us understand how the website is used. They are stored only with your consent.

You give or refuse consent in the banner on your first visit. You can change or withdraw it at any time in the cookie settings on the website. The website uses no advertising cookies.

Data is processed only by the following processors, and only to the extent needed to run the website:

• PLEGI s.r.o. – website management and development, setting up members’ area accounts,
• Cloudflare, Inc. – website hosting and security,
• Google Ireland Limited – web analytics, only with your consent,
• the provider of the Cookie-Script tool – cookie consent management.

Cloudflare and Google may transfer data to the USA under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. We do not share data with any other third parties unless required by law.

We protect data against unauthorised access, loss and misuse. The members’ area is available only after login, and repeated failed login attempts are temporarily blocked.

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing and to data portability. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest, and you can withdraw your consent to analytics cookies at any time. Just write to ahczsk@centrum.cz. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz (opens in a new window)).

We may update this policy when the website or the law changes. The current version is always on this page. Effective from 21 October 2026.
